help with pipeages

Featured Replies

Whilst the cars in bits im going to sort all my breathers out and include a oil catch can. question is, can i use a catch can with 15mm connections and then used nylon reducers to go up the the 19mm pipeage. I cant find a catch can within my price range with a 19mm connection. My price range is £50 before anyone asks.

im looking at getting this 1.

any help would be great. x x

I checked into this very subject for nearly a week, nearly went gaa gaa looking at different websites, but in the end it seems that a 19mm connection is desirable for good throughput of gas, and the internal filter needs to be good with this sort of throughput..

My initial budget was similar to yours, but in the end I realised I was going to either have to save a bit longer for a sakoi michi one, or find the golden goose on Ebay.

If you do find something let us know as this is on my radar to do after the sump.

its a PITA aint it. I seen alot of golf boys run a smaller catch can but i want to do things once and do it properly. Ultimatly, my car is off the road until i do all this. I dont want to keep taking componants apart to fit bits gradually when its all off and would be perfect to fit now! lol im thinking i mite as well fit a TIP whilst the rockers off as they are easier to fit with it removed.. this as well as fitting my FMIC properly.

Long . com

I ran 19mm to 15mm with no issues and that was on a ?ar with high bhp
