Hi all!

Not posted much in a while, could do with some advice.

Noticed a puddle under my car yesterday and it turns out it was trickling washer fluid out at quite a rate.

now, my rear washer has never worked since the last winter in which it disconnected after trying to wash the rear screen in the freezing temps and would then just leak behind the O/S/F wheel arch but now it has a disconnected joint under the bonnet.. If I follow the hose backwards from the bottle I cannot make out where it joins. To stop it leaking for now I've just tightly tucked it face up by the black squareish bottle behind it? (Evap system thingy, possibly?)

Any advice/pics would be awesome.. I had a good feel around but as the engine was warm this was pretty difficult but as I said I couldn't feel where the rear pipe was meant to push-fit into.

Many Thanks!

Lew

mine went a few weeks ago take out the EVAP canister the joint is underneath,it clips back together (common fault) another notorious area is near Cd changer but obviously not in your case

Brill.. ta matey.

How hard is it to take out the evap canister?

A couple of bolts on top of the evap canister to remove. Then you can move it out of the way enough to get to the securing nuts for the washe bottle. Be careful as these are plastic and easily damaged. Undo washer bottle nuts and remove bottle. This will give you chance to clean out all the crud that has gathered underneath bottle and to check pipe joints.

Ah cheers mate.. ****** it up a bit.. thought I could get at it wit just moving the evap can.. haha I was wondering how on earth has anyone been able to move them enough to get at the pipe!

Any ideas how many securing nuts there are on the wash bottle, I could only see one?

Cheers
