Looking to get my 05 Vrs lowered, owned it for about 3 months now and can't get use to how high it sits as standard. although there isn't much body roll i'd still like to get it lowered about 30-35mm. Looking for advice on what to look for in terms of brands to avoid, and whether people recommend changing shocks as well as springs. (in my mind it seems only right to change shocks and springs but don't know if its an unnecessary expense? )

whats you budget? have you thought about coilovers? JOM are popular ones at £200, cheap but are good for the money, your next best are the AP coilovers at £400, then Weitec GT at £460, then KW for more monies

KW make weitec and AP too lol just priced at different price bands

DPM Performance and Demon Tweeks both good places to shop

I ordered a set of Weitecs from Demon Tweeks last week, getting them fitted hopefully tomorrow

also consider (if not done already) changing your console bushes, ARB bushes, front wishbone front bush, drop links, top mounts, top mount bearings, rear top mounts, rear bump stops. most of these can be done while your struts are out so dont have to do them again if they go.

lol it can add up but better to change now then later if money allows
