Im starting to really not care about the whole FMIC thing and thinking a uprated SMIC amd sell my FMIC and pipework. It all fits but needs a small amount of adapting to fit 100%. i really cannot be arsed now as i have not got the time to much about.

I have found one on ebay but it says it has a space for smaller map sensor. Whats the VRS map sensor large or small? anyone know?

But my fmic had a mahoosive hole for the map, so a browse on ebay and i found a big one off an octavia vrs! So it can be either or!

as much as id like to jase i aint got the time. gains can be made from a decent side mount as well. now i have the milotec grills on the car and i will have the milotec side bumper vents also, there will be more than enough air flow for what i need.

Cheers for the info, the SMIC i found has the smaller map hole so im hoping that will be ok. dont fancy drilling a new intercooler as i mite as well just do the front mount! I just want the car back on the road!

Well it doesnt matter what map you use as they are interchangable

I have the smaller one here in fully working order if it turns out you need it!

The one i have spare is 12mm which came on my car as standard
