Induction cone?

Featured Replies

My friend has a 1.4 MPI fabia. He has got an induction kit but broke the tube it came with. For now do you guys think he will be ok to just run the cone straight onto the engine? For the moment I am just talking about damaging the engine. He is getting a new pipe soon.

It will just be sucking in the hot air from the engine :)

It will be fine. I used to have a MPI and the induction kit i had didn't have a tube, the cone was just jubilee clipped onto the throttle body.....obviously you need clearance to shut the bonnet!

But it won't damage the engine? Just affect performance?

Thank you. Could I just put a cone on my 1.2 HTP? As it would save me £30!

The K&N induction just jubilee clips on to the Throttle body with a tube running to it.
