Rear wiper, can it be swapped for the newer flat blade type that's on the mk2?

One click unlocking can be done with vcds, no idea about a Mk2 wiper fitting, tho a different rear blade was fitted to late mk1s

Yes I've got the chunky style arm & blade as mines is an 06. Just wondered if it was a possisble retro fit

As for VCDS, my mate has the vagcom & said one click unlocking cant be done on the mk4 platform, if asked several people & everyone has a different opinion. So confused ;-)

What do you mean by one-click unlocking? Does yours open the driver and then you have to press it again to open the rest?

Yes that's currently how my car unlocks. Find it a pain in the bum. But some times 2 clicks don't open the boot. Would rather have a simple click to unlock all.

Set mine to that so swmbo has to be nice to me otherwise she's not getting in lol

Do you want to replace the entire rear wiper arm? or just the mounting for the blade? I really dont know if a mk 2 would fit, isnt the glass a different curve and size, so different sweep to the arm?

and you dont want an ill fitting wiper, it will annoy you every time you use it...

Somebody put a straight blade on my mk1 before i bought it, and noone outside of a dealer seems to stock the correct size curved one. and i can say that a straight rear blade does very little to clear the glass.. just havnt been arsed going the stealer to get the right one. drive a van at work, so i dont really look out the back window much, but the few times i do clear it, its a waste of time..
