This Sunday I will be driving my CR Tdi 170 VRS Octavia to Holly Head to catch the HSS Explorer for a flying visit to the Emerald Isle. I'm thinking 40/50mpg is possible does anyone have any thoughts contrary to this, once I get over to Stockport should be plain Sailing decent roads, also the time will be on my side as I will be travelling early am.. Also do you think it would be Rude not to try a Guinness or two. Hopefully I will be down Temple Bar (Hard Rock Cafe) Sunday night and Oliver St John Gogarty Pub, this has come highly recomended.

I wouldn't personally, Temple Bar is full of 'Craic' dealers where you can get a plate of Irish Stew and a music session at any time of day and for me, the pubs get better the further away you get from TB! Have a good trip though, I'm sure you'll have a great time whereever you end up.
