Crankcase breather problem, need a new pipe

Featured Replies

Hey guys. I have a problem. I made a silly mistake which is going to cost. When I was replacing my crankcase breather pipes, I accidentally cracked the black plastic pipe that comes off the top of the crankcase ventilation (where the oil filter is) and bends 90' to the right. So I've cracked it and I'm after a replacement one. I've had a look online an cant find one anywhere other than some foreign website. So I'm was wondering if anyone can help me? If anyone knows someone breaking an engine or spares or anything really?! I've left a link to a picture of it. Atleast I hope the link works as I'm on my mobile.

Many thanks guys. Grant.

tps or main dealer not expensive

They are notorious for getting brittle over time and breaking.

I replaced mine completely with (expensive) aftermarket bits when I did my catch can.

Ah ok fair enough may have to try a main dealer then. Also how much did your braided bits cost then rob? I've been following your project journal on your website. It's awesome!! That's where I got most of my inspiration lol. I've just finished removing all the systems that arnt needed! That's why I ended up breaking the breather pipe lol.

Grant.

I can't recall exactly but it was something like 30 quid for the adapter plus about 15 for the elbow and another 20ish for the other two bits.

It's a much stronger solution but not cheap.
