My Yeti 170 4x4 Elegance delivered at 3pm today but can't drive it until tomorrow. 6 month wait but looks nice in white with gobi leather and the wood trim fitted.

Picked my 1.8Tsi up last Monday, ordered I'm May this year & has been sat in the dealers for about 6 weeks pending the new reg series.

Woohoo. Ordered White 140 DSG 4x4 Elegance with sunroof in early June, now been given delivery date of 5 December. Can now sort out winter steels and tyres. slightly earlier than told originally but early Christmas present.

Looks like a great choice of extras, I'm thinking of retrofitting the variable boot floor. I have the roof and park assist (ex showroom car). I'm sure you'll enjoy the new arrival. Let us know how you get on. First impressions etc.

Yes I have seen that as well, what makes it worse is that we went for a test in one today, and are very seriously thinking about ordering one of those as well.

And before anyone asks, no, I am not going to start a waiting list sheet for citigos...

After 15 months plus, my car has been confirmed built and is in the UK and in the "logistics system" - whatever that means. Delivery (to my home) next 10 to 14 days. They do not know which dealer it will go to for PDI and registration (?).

Any tips on what I should look for on delivery, before parting with my money...

Took delivery of my new, blue Yeti yesterday. Seven months wait almost to the day.

Only a few miles trundle back from the dealers so far but I am really looking forward to a trip round parts of Yorkshire this weekend.

That's excellent news - I hope mine is a bit quicker (they are almost identical) - I have been given a confirmed build week of 40 so adding 4 weeks to that makes it the end of October / first week of November - which is only (hah!) 6 months...

What I do find odd is that there are 2 140 Elegances that have lead times of 110 and 105 days in the waiting list (delivered tab) - both of these have DSG boxes.

I thought the DSG versions were suffering from delays due to lack of boxes.

My sheet doesn't seem to support that view

I wonder if the dealer quotas affect the delivery times ? I saw at least three more 62 plate Yetis ready to go out of the dealers when I collected mine and I'm sure I wasn't the first to collect so there must have been quite a batch of them for September delivery. Also do you think Skoda may time UK production to coincide with the March and September registrations ?

John, yes it does seem a bit like that. Obviously we only get to hear about a small percentage of skoda owners on here and then a smaller amount who are prepared me furnish me with details of their orders, so things are skewed.

From a personal point of view, up until September there were less than a handful of local yetis that I was aware of. Now there are about 10 that I see regularly, and this is a small town.
