VRS off the road........................and now im bored!

Featured Replies

I was out for a drive the other day and i was stopped at the traffic lights when a boyracer pulled up besid me in his MAX POWER corsa and started to rev it and inch forward.

So i did the only thing i could.......................................................................................................................................blew him away!!!!

Then a mile or so up the road doing about 40mph i started getting a strange vibration/wobble, i pulled over and checked the wheels and the hubs but all seamed fine.

I limped it home and stripped down the frount end to find out the passinger inner CV joint had been totalay chewed up!!!!!

I got on the phone and got a price for a new compleat shaft (outer cv,shaft, inner cv), £100 inc vat was the best i could get.

Im am now waiting on it and im so bord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am driving my cuz's mk2 golf driver the now i love it but im not the bigges fan of LOW N SLOW so i want to take the frount bummper off and strip down my smic+pipes and give them a good clean out, can anyone help me with some info on "how too"????

Thanks Marko

is the shaft n cv oem or some other make?

billy

ps you were lucky to get home too

That was way expensive! Got mine from jandr or something that advertise on ebay, shaft came next day and both cv joints were vw marked

Had a £20 sub charge so it was only £80 with the shagged shaft.

Think it was on the right side of 50quid without any surcharge, got I from here http://www.jandrcvjoints.co.uk/

:giggle:

it's not fixed cos I didn't have the money to fix it. until now

Rev your engine next time, inch forward then when the lights change green just cruise off and watch them destroy their drive train whilst looking like a faggot traffic light warrior.

It was bound to happen sooner or later. Least it held up whilst you killed the chav.

LOL

I am holding back good now, had some boy in a M3 up my ring and then he blew past me with his hazords on but i "turned the other cheek" and left it in cruse controle at 40mph wilst he bombed off at 140mph.

Cand afford to be replacing shafts all the time!!!
