Electric mirror issue

Featured Replies

My mate Has an issue with his electric wing mirror switch, turn it to do the left mirror, will do it fine, turn to do the right mirror, does both in unison.

Funny thing is mine has started doing it this evening.

Any ideas?

they all do it, its meant to be like that, nothing to worry about

Mine started doing this a couple of weeks ago, now I learn that they all do it, I have owned the car 7 years and never before noticed it, I even had the switch to pieces, still its nice to know that the control unit is not faulty and does explain why I often find the left hand mirror to be out of alignment

I guess that we dont llok at both mirrors when adjusting one of them. Still 7 years is a long time and I do feel a prat after taking the switch to pieces

You say that, but then my switch must have been faulty as it has always operated each mirror independently, not like that before....
