Noisy wipers

Featured Replies

Has anyone else noticed that the font wipers are really noisy on there monte Carlo or is it just ours?

Have you given them a good clean recently? the glass as well with a good glass cleaner/polish?

2 applications of 'Rain x' on the Windscreen, Rear screen and Side windows and mirrors for me.

Or are you meaning the Motor?

george

A good clean with autogylm fast glass on windscreen and super blades, followed by the rain x should do it.

Sqeeky wiper blades is often caused by grease on the screen, the fast glass will remove this, the rain x is a great water repellent and lasts well

Mine squeeked after I applied RainX. I cannot understand why. Then I used windscreen's washing feature (by pulling wipers stalk - I don't know the exact word) and since then everything is fine.

As about wipers motor, it is as noisy as both Octavia's and Fabia's I owned before Roomster.

It's more motor noise than wiper noise as the screen is cleaned regularly with ag glass cleaner. The greeny/blue liquid. I can't put a sealant on it as Sarah doesn't like how the water beads

Can't say that my front wipers are noisy, certainly no more than any other car. The rear wiper on the other hand... The blade shudders on the first half of the sweep and only wipes on the way back.

Clean them with IPA (isopropanol).

Also I've applied Gtechniq G1 to the windscreen, perfect ;)
