In your experience ....

Featured Replies

Well, I am finally passed the run in period of my 1.8 tsi, and starting to push things a lttle more .just wondering , with esp on, is there much warning to the back end going if I push to far. Have never driven a front wheel drive, or a car with esp before. Must admit, I am really enjoying it so far!

Mine always feels like it is glued to the road, though I guess it also depends on tyres etc

You need to be pushing really hard and deliberately trying to get lift off oversteer in my experience. Understeer is the norm.

Thanks. Good to know. Some nice winding roads around here. Just running the Bridgestones (polish) that it came with.

Well I push mine very hard and have never had any issues.

I have been very impressed over the years at how good the octavias handle.

If you push really hard the only thing likely to slip is you out of the seat, if my Vrs seat is anything to go by!!

It will stick to the road like glue!
