Pics of our Citigo

Featured Replies

I have ordered a 75 Elegance in Red for work.

Signed earlier in the week at Preston Motors in East London who supply all my Skodas.

I have a lot of mad, but often expensive, thoughts that are not viable. Usually about wacky car projects.

But this is a runaround for the office staff and to monitor routes in London. (and I plan to borrow it sometimes ;) )

I believe that OP had them painted -as far as I know you cannot order black wheels at the moment.

Richard -you are taking a lot of interest in the Citigo -does this mean that you have a 'project' in mind -we'd all love to see it.

I've got a brochure with those black wheels in, they are a dealer fit option. They do look like the 15" option in the pic.

Problem is, we couldn't find an upgrade price yet... so the only option is to buy them for £165 each and then have a spare set of rims.

Compared to £100 extra on the Fabia to upgrade the rims it's very expensive.

I knew that there was a dealer fitted styling pack available -but like Richard says above you have to buy this in addition -you cannot order a Citigo from the factory with black wheels at present.

£165 each.....ouch!

Not a fan of dark coloured alloys anyway, well not on your average saloon/hatch type car.

I think the Up wheel options look better, they should fit surely, just the badge to sort?

Mick

Probably best to get something after market if anyone is serious about changing the wheels on their Citigo -there's plenty of wheels on the bay advertised for these.

Really nice looking car rascal, white suits it well, hope you enjoy it. B)

Ooh, a four wheel drive citigo ;)

Go for it Richard !

Mid engined too!

Mid engined too!

The engine would be between the front seats. :giggle:

OP, sorry for going off topic a bit. Nice car and I like the avatar version with the stripe. :D

The engine would be between the front seats

And your problem is..... :giggle:

We need a new thread here -Bossfox Citigo 4wd 350bhp.... whatever, perhaps in the form of a petition!

Seeing as the engine was originally going to be in the boot it might as well go there ...and the rear seats as well.

Come on Richard, you owe it to the fans :)

P.S the white wheels are cheaper here

Someone if not VAG will build a Twin Engined one (front and rear), thats if they do not already have one kicking about.

Just like previous cars, 2CV's, Mokes & Hunters/Rangers including some military ones,

& there were some Mini's built for Stunts in the Italian Job that were twin engined,

And a very nice Mini Pickup that was in Dundee with a 1275cc front and rear which could be run individually or both together, he used it to launch his boat and blow off Cossies.

2 rev counters and adjustable throttle cables to set to match or not.

Ok folks been a while since we picked up our Citigo now and a few changes have been undertaken.

I see a few folks don't like the black alloys but it was a decision to have them painted until I can source a set of 16/17's I like.

Anyway here's some updated pics after carbon fibre wrapping the roof this morning.

Cheers

As per MickA and others....needs some wheel trims on it or something. Those blank wheels are awful.

I think it looks fine.

Pics don't show it in the best light though, black wheels are in the shade so you can't really see them very well. Just shadows.

Next time park it across the drive for the photos, that will show the wheels better , liking the roof, but I am biased ,Ive got your badges too

Very nice the roof looks cool  and the black wheels go well with the colour

Looks good -I'd still wrap the mirrors though. And loose that badge on the back until you've got something under the bonnet to match that claim!

I'd loose all the badges on the back to be honest, much prefer the de-badged look. Couple that with the new style badge and it will set it off nicely.

I don't know why but for some reason, the new style badge works on this car, on others IMO it doesn't.
