couple of the guys at work have brand new hyundai's i20

must say build quality and equipment levels inside seem good, and with the warranty being offered can't be that bad

ride is ok, bit plastic inside but not bad value

Yeah I love getting the abuse from friends and work mates. My favorite one yet is "skip w4nk37" :L still makes me laugh til now

i usually join in and challenge them to tell me a skoda joke i haven't heard and start reeling them off, by the end they give up and walk off

My car gets called the "skoda felecio" at work.......but then again i must work in one of the most brutal places for banter so thats getting off pretty light :)

i have had a suzuki swift sport just briefly in relation to the op's post....

it's an excellent car at what it does(which most hot haatch drivers slag off,it's not designed to do 0-62 in 4 seconds but rather stick to the b roads excellent which it does),had to sell due to personal/job related issues.........

i now own a mk1 skoda 8v which im happily living with although always wanted a vrs almost bought a octy vrs when just about to sign left it a week and me job went short time.

anyway my main point is after also having a hyundai coupe i wanted for years and enjoyed

suzuki got called and i know people slag skodas off but have poxy cars they complain about lol

badge snobbery is crud

ive owned a few and never thought about calling a skoda at all my misses had a1.2 estate(just sailed through its mot as her dad has it) which was faster than an ibiza i had with few things added

and now she has a roomster which we are both very imprressed with indeed

This one guy used to take the mick all the time about our skodas... his car? A bright gold Chrysler PT Cruiser. 'Nuff said.
