Wipers won't turn off!

Featured Replies

Hey as the title says every now and then my wipers come on and just won't turn off it could be dry and they are going like mad, then they just seem to slow down. Another werid thing I have noticed when I turn left once they are doing it they go off and then when I turn right they come back on. Don't under stand why it's doing it any help be great.

Have you got auto-wipers and on the auto setting?

Broken switch? - I had this on a VW Polo - the on/off switch was stuck on - had to have a new steering wheel column wiperstalk.

I have auto wipers ye but they will come on when in the off position.

water ingress somewhere? dont know if these are prone

Your steering wheel position affecting their operation is your clue.

Sounds to me like an electrical issue where the stalk meets the steering column.

This what I was thinking, is the g85 steering angle sensor located there? Wondering if that could effect it.
