Dectane licence plate LED's now out for facelift 1Z

Featured Replies

Hmmm... Nice solution, but at what price? For me in NZ, the cost is astronomic!

Not justifiable for me personally, but I'd love to hear how they go, particularly in terms of even light throw across the plate.

At last FL number plate LED,s.

Too expensive

Just get soom Canbus Festoon ones..Job done!

CanBus festoons wont work on facelifted Octys.

And had those dectanes on my audi, lasted about 3 months. Although garantee I threw them away, wasnt too satisfied with their quality.

Nice solution - either a heatsinked resistor network or some form of electronic control however that is just ridiculous pricing.

At over £100 for one, I'd expect it to be gold-plated and have someone come and fit it, and replace it whenever it went wrong, for the next 1,000 years!

What about a Brisky GB??

Looks like they are now listed at €69 or about £55 for 1 set of two, still not cheap, but coming down. If you shop about you can find Dectaine supplied by other Internet suppliers (even Amazon!) usually for a bit less and occasionally with free shipping. Would like to see what they are actually like on a car, then I might start keeping "an eye out"!
