Am I missing something?

Featured Replies

Not got a DMF issue and hopefully not for a while yet as it was done at 82,000 (currently on 108,000) but in the future I might do the DPF delete (EGR delete worth doing as well?) and get it remapped so was having a look on Google at what the cost of an SMF kit would be. As the above is probably going to shorten the life of the DMF quite a bit.

On Ebay there is Techniclutch (I'm aware of their 'poor' reputation from my Vectra days) selling Sachs kits for circa £550. The 'flywheel' isn't stated as being Sachs but the clutch is Sachs and release bearing is LUK.

So scrolling down the Google page there is this Darkside Developments. Clicked on that and their Sachs SMF kit is a whopping £1100. WTF!!! :x . Then I see they sell a Sachs DMF kit too and that is only £400,which is more like it. I get that the SMF is a fancy all singing, all dancing 'race' kit :dull: but nearly triple the price of the DMF kit is a p***take surely.
