Mobile Phone Insurance (which one to get)

Featured Replies

As above. I get mine with my bank account. It's the halifax ultimate reward. It costs £15 a month but then I you get £5 a month back if you pay in £1000 or more a month.

I also get AA breakdown cover and travel insurance which is really handy.

If you add an account holder on you also get the benefits for both of you for the price of one.

£15 a month for a bank account? No thanks!

I pay £0 a month for my bank account and get free travel insurance. I am with Nationwide. Also get better mortgage deals.

As said, my phones are covered on my house insurance but i am also in the 'save the money' camp and buy one if you need to. Like all insurance policies really.

I would advise you don't use the one that comes with your bank, Its not worth the paper its written on IMHO as the company that provide it to all the banks are "LifestyleGroup"

I thought I was insured, had my phone stolen and turned out not to be covered, as I left it in a vulnerab place - Secret compartment in the car!
