Lol! Funnily enough it did leak as i hadnt turned the spray to off. Damm wind!

Always a worry, i remember getting glym high gloss, removing top to get at it (its a very runny liquid) said wind took the pi55 with me too and all £12 went away.

Nice finish on the car  ,

Claying the car really does make everything-else you do to the paintwork so much easier.

I've kicked over a bottle of C1 before and watched £40 go down the drain (literally) :@

at £40 i would have drank it out the sewer and induced vomiting to return it to the bottle

The problem is you only get 30ml in a tiny bottle. Not sure what would have been harder; sucking it out of the drain or trying to puke it into a 30ml bottle!

:D.

I sense this thread could be about to go "off topic" :giggle:

so anyway about my naval fluff

il have a go about bringing us back on to the topic if you like!! ive always been a person for Autoglym but have also been known to use turtlewax every now and then, i always rinse, shampoo, rinse, chamois, then do a coat of either super resin polish or ultra deep shine along with a super gloss coat, instant shine the outside plastics and plastic shine the interior trim (i have a lot of time on my hands at the weekend and its my first car so i treat it like its a Lambo!!) so what benefits would clay do for me and more to the point what is it ?? :)

Claying removes all manner of deposits that adhere to your cars paintwork naturally over time. They can be anything from pollen to tree sap to small bits of grit or metal deposits. Its really anything in the atmosphere.

A simple way to notice these deposits is to put your hand inside a polythene bag (sandwich bags are best but supermarket bags can be used) and run it over the roof of your car. Where the bag catches and snags on areas will be where you have tiny deposits stuck to your paintwork. Over time you can inadvertently end up loosening these deposits when you wash/polish the car and then rubbing them all over you paint work which could cause marring or swirls.

Use of a clay bar can safely remove these deposits leaving you a glass-like smooth surface ready for polishing/waxing etc. The first time you clay a car you really will be surprised at the difference it makes  . It can be reasonably inexpensive too. I clay my car about twice a year.

Its also a cumulative process so the more you do it the easier and quicker it gets each time. Unless your neighbour sprays paint droplets all over your car as happened to a forum user recently :(.
