Lucky git!

Featured Replies

My bro's just passed his driving test this morning and then went to work. Then comes back with a brand new Audi a2 diesel! Thought he was messing when he said his boss was pushing for him to pass his test and give him a car!

Nice looking car with black body and interior and a spec that puts my octy to shame lol

An A2?

A1 or A3? nice to be given a car.

Do they still make A2's?

Phew, I would've felt sorry for him if he'd have been given an A2, still if it had been me I would've sold it and got something decent so he's still lucky.

You need to get your brother to put your lottery ticket on this week.

Very lucky indeed - well done on passing his test!

Decided I'm not as impressed with the spec as I thought I was. A premium car with sports styling which means a awkward back profile making it hard to reverse and reversing sensors an option? Its got Bluetooth and all sorts of stuff think its poor not to have it tho.

Poor lad has just passed his test and was watching him (without him knowing) trying to park it, I was brought up driving in fields and stuff plus insurance was cheap in my day so I was on family cars insurance when i was learning driving up to Scotland etc on L plates, something I couldn't do with him due to the cost of insurance plus my dad now drives an auto. So all he's ever had is basic lessons which doesn't really help with day to day driving. He's gonna get pass plus and motorway tuition and luckily his work m8 lives on the same street so he's gonna go with him to work and help his confidence. Hopefully he'll get used to the car quickly and know where the corners are.

All come with time. If you have to park somewhere tricky every day you'll soon be able to do without thinking about it. When I first passed my test I had to reverse in and out of a dead end with cars on either sides. I now think I am quite good at that sort of manoeuvre and parking in general. Practice makes perfect.

That said, I had big old iron girder bumpers to protect me, not a brand new shiny A1.

What does he do for work btw?!

He just started working for a small software company and the boss puts his staff first and really looks after them
