Featured Replies

Thanks to @creativescript.co.uk for lowering my car via photoshop before I take the plunge. Coilovers coming this way.

Any good recommendations?

Hope you like it. post-89110-0-32209200-1341345995_thumb.jpg

Budget?

  • Author

Well I've looked at Lowering springs but I think 40mm is a little to low on the standard shocks and I don't want to jeopardise handling or anything else. So I've been looking at coilovers. £400 - 800.

Heard the FK Koni Coilovers are good?

I want to achieve the ride height as pictured which I think is about 40mm.

Nah mate the ride height above is more like -70 mine isn't quite that low and mine is all the way down on weitec -65

Yer thats way lower than 40mm i would go about 70 aswell maybe a tad more. 400-800 is a nice budget i can recomend ap/weitec as they are both the same, buying new top mounts and bearings with them and rear bump stops will see you with a nice bit of change from 800 to put towards something else.

Oh yer and your wheels are a lovley colour and the car will look great once lowered on them like your pic :)

That picture is perfect ride height !!

To achieve that in the photo you'll probs be maxing out the rears. . But if ya wanna go lower, remove the adjusters.simplest.

mines running without adjusters at back and front to match on weitec hicon gt coilovers, there mint ride quality. . Best coilis I've ever had,and around £478 new i think?. .
