C i do 1miles to work and same back then about 15 miles round trip to see wife later

My trip to work is 10-15min, barely warmed up by th? time I'm there. It's short trips that kill the mpg on diesels. Give it a long run and it'll sip the fuel.

300 to the light with just local driving. Goes up to 400-450 if It's motorway driving.

Worst so far was 240 miles to the light (all town driving).

When I had mind I got to Edinburgh and back from ulverston lake district on just over half a tank. Stage 1 revo, bmc replacement panel filter. Cruise control set to 70 most of the way ;-)

Not sure if my car had a problem with the fuel gauge but I drove from Weymouth to Santa Pod and it only went from Full to just 1 bar below full !!!

450-500 miles, not many short cold journeys.

Venting mod allows me to get 500-620 miles out of a tank depending on driving....

Never had less than 500 miles

What's this venting mod?

ccv mod i think he is referring to

Nah venting mod is filling the expansion tank. I believe the 'venting' part of it is enabling the expansion tank to be permanently open so you don't have to manually open it? I think

Aye...remove the nipple and keep on pumping until the hose stops at the forecourt...

Ah I remember reading that now! lol

False economy doesnt get you better mpg just gets you a greater range per tank as your putting more in. I personally only ever put in £20 quid at a time to keep my weight down

When I want to run some millers through I fill up; usually once every 3 / 4 months

Yeh exactly, people boast about how many miles to the tank they get but it doesn't change their MPG!

I hate going to fuel station though, always a pain in the ass. I fill up the to top every time, good way of keeping track of real MPG also.

On a long run 600+ miles out of standard tank. This is 70+ mpg. About town is ~400 miles. Some of the biggest differences can be made by the simple things like pumping up your tyres and emptying the boot. I don't know anyone who gets better mpg than the VRS does.

Never let the tank get that low but I consistently get 46 mpg measured. The trip says 55 so nomwhere near. My last vrs got 46 also.

Usually I do brim to brim fill up and get between 48-55mpg, in saying that it's an all round average, having a little fun when driving briskly and commuting, save money style driving. That equates to around 480-530 miles a tank for me, my daily commute is 36 miles round trip so the car gets up to temperature ok.

I can get it lower if I tan it and higher if I stay under 2K revs. Mind you the on board computer tells some marvellous pork pies! If only they were true! :giggle:

Not enough. That is all.

Usually get 500+ to a brimmed tank, mix of town and long journeys
