road noise :(

Featured Replies

I have a Fabia VRS 06 and i had alot of noise coming from the road and a squeak when i turned slightly to the left, i thought it was a bearing causing the noises. Since then Ive changed all 4 bearings the road noise is alot better but still quite a bit of road noise and there is still the squeaking but its better/not as often as it was i also noticed i can hear all the bumps in the road. I havent long changed the dog bone mount either. ive checked tire pressure, cv joints only thing i can see is a bit of a lip around the disc that could be squeaking.

Any suggestions would be a great help.

Thanks

K!

No the car wasnt making noise like this when i had it. their Arrow tyres mate

Not heard of Arrows doing this.

Could be worn top mounts or bearings or even bushes. What mileage you on mate?

Maybe your tyres have become 'stepped'. Same happened to me, a 'worbling' sound at low speeds mainly which turned out to be my two rear tyres which had gone octagon shaped rather than round. Jack up your car and feel round your tyre and see if you can feel any flat spots.
