Gorgeous Custom Stave Snare Drum. Padauk 12x6.5

Featured Replies

I have this wonderful snare drum for sale.

Made using the stave construction method which uses a tiny fraction of the amount of glue in traditional techniques, this allows the drum to resonate more freely and give it a richer tone.

The drum was made by me and my father about 5 years ago and has barely been played as I use it's sister drum which we made at the same time.

Padauk, 12" Wide, 6.5" Deep with a wall thickness of nearly an inch! 6 lug, basic strainer but I do have a dunnett R class which can be fitted for a price.

Evans Coated G1 Batter over a Hazy 300. only played to tune up.

Really beautiful drum. Loud and poppy with an earsplitting rimshot.

Feel free to get in touch for more pictures or information and anybody is welcome to come and hear the drum. I have a lot of information on the building of the drum and you can rest assured that it has been built to the highest standards.

Looking for £275 but feel free to make me an offer. Maybe deal with some Mk1 Fabia parts too.
