Thats what most drivers say but at the end of the term are you really 'much' better off with a diesel? The car, fuel and parts cost more.

I'd say yes, current prices in Glasgow for diesel is £1.31.9 petrol £1.28.9, 3p a litre a differance. Your £60 a sat shift & I'm still only £30.

I don't buy brand new cars, service is £65. Disks, pads, depends what make I buy.

I'd love a petrol Vrs but I do too meny personal miles. Diesel only for me

Fair comment, I suppose it depends where you work and if you can make it pay im more or less guarenteed £100 per shift anyday of the week and that costs me £25 in fuel if I want to make it up I can always do a few more hours.
