I'm awaiting the recall on the coil packs for my Octavia. One of the coil packs is just starting to misfire at tick over, would this bring on the traction control light? ( the orange circle with an 'A' in the middle ). Just wondered as it has never been on before, and when it does come on, you only have to switch the ignition off, and the next time you start it's off. I've put a OBDII reader on and the only fault showing is no.4 coil pack.

Yes this happens very often, if you scan the ABS unit you'll notice a fault code that states the engine ECU should be checked for faults.
