It went for £190..bargain price.

That is a bargain! I will take a picture of my car sometime and post it up. Looks good in black especially with the 14" vw alloys!

My old Favorit was a blackline and looked really nice when scrubed up. However it didn't seem to stay that way very long and so in some respects wasn't the ideal colour

Mine's black. It's the pre facelift version so it was the only colour with matching bumpers appart from the Fun. This is a photo of it 6 years ago (if it has attached properly). It's a diesel so I get matching smoke too.
