Skoda Sports springs?

Black Pro-kit

Red Sportline

eibach only make a pro kit for the octavia, they don't make a sport line.

They did for the Mk 1 (1U) Octavia, but don't for the Mk 2 (1Z) Octavia.

Black Pro-kit

Red Sportline

Generally, that would be correct.

For some reason there seems to be a run of Skoda / Eibach lowering springs (Pro kit) for the 1Z estate that are red.

Don't ask me what, why or how as I don't know.

But I do know that my car sits about 30 mm lower (non-Vrs) than standard and is on red Eibach springs which are clearly marked 'Est' directly after the part number (rear springs only) and the car sits level front & back.

Falkster has the same red springs on his estate and they sit no lower than black pro kit springs on my vRS. Same drop different colour

I have Skoda / Eibach lowering springs on my estate (non-Vrs) paired with new Bilstein B4 dampers (standard ones).

Much improved stance and handling without too much harshness.

If you have an estate, I think Caffyns have a set on eBay for around £90 delivered.

Beware of anything on the road as you are driving as it will probably hit the bottom of your car if it's lower (even coke cans) and an increase in insurance premiums.

A mighty thanks for the heads up!

I paid up Monday at 10ish and they were delivered before 9 the next day!! Top service Caffyns!

So, after reading this thread are they pro or sportline. No wait, I don't care the cars gonna look awesome!

And so to the fitting...

There is some debate about that, but having had them fitted on a non-Vrs, I am convinced they are just red Pro Kit springs for an estate.

It will look awesome - a friend of mine with a Vrs LE saw it last week and was suitably impressed. I think had they been hatch springs, he would have had them at that price.

I still want to know what a Peugeot dealer is doing selling on Eibach springs for an Octavia...

Yeah, I wondered the same thing. There are a few Caffyns VW, in Kent I think, so maybe that's it.

Anyway thanks again, I'll try to get some before and after photos up.

What next...
