My maxidot's top listing in the menu is 'ATA enabled'. I may be being a tad thick here but what is this? I understand all of the other maxidot options but not this one and don't want to start playing with it in case the wheels drop off or something equally unlikely happens.

I think it is the chirp when you lock/unlock the car....

It won't hurt the car to play with any of the settings..

From page 20 ot the Owners Manual.....

ATA confirm

Switch on/off the acoustic signal indicating activation of

the anti-theft alarm system.

Thanks. I did read the manual but obviously read it and forgot it!

It doesnt help that the index in the manual is rather deficient.

Have just spent a good 1/2 hour getting the settings on both keys the same and like you trying to work out what all the options are - travel mode flummoxed me for ages.
