Featured Replies

Anyone else tried wrapping there grill without removing it from the car?

Why would you want to when it only a couple of minute job to remove?

Just read a post awhile ago where a guy found it easier whilst it was still on the car because it was not moving about when tryin to wrap it.

Fair comment. TBH i haven't wrapped mine but if i was to go black i'd just plastidip it or something. Wrap is too much of a faff

^^^ plasti dip can be peeled off when done aswell so i would go with that too, plus the finish is very smooth and durable. Whip it off spray it back on and done

I sprayed mine myself, you have to make sure you key all of the chrome and use a etch primer. You cant go wrong it looks great if you have patience :D

I plasti dipped mine but it kept peeling away because water was sitting where the chrome part meets the black part.

Tried wrapping it i just couldnt do it, it looked like ****e

Tried Halfords black matt stone chip resistance pait, looked good but then chipped.

Now its got 2 cans of hammerite on top of Halfords crap lol

i painted mine myself get sanding make sure you get all the chrome off etch primer and satin black and the result is
