Hello all,

I'm driving a 3 month old octavia vrs TFSI. It's the first car I've driven with a turbo. Should the turbo kicking in sound like a buzzing noise from the exhaust?

It seems to kick in around 2500rpm, but to me it sound like it kicks in a little premature when I'm hardly putting down much power.

Any thoughts?

The turbo probably does kick in about there. but I've never heard it 'buzz'.

I've never really heard it full stop.

go and kick the tailpipes to see if the chrome tip has come loose
