Thoughts on White Illuminated Instrument dials

Saw these pics that a guy from Greece has done to his MK1 Octy.I was thinking if this would look good on a MK2 Pre FL.Probally alot of work involved.What does everyone think?

I like the layout of the dials. On my FL VRS the speedometer and tacho are opposite sides to every other car I have driven and the rev counter has x100 rather than x1000 graduations. A couple of times I have mistaken 3k revs for 30mph.

Ive started doin this its a big job not just changing bulbs but desoldering tiny smds and soldering in new ones it looks good though so far ive half the rev counter and half the speedo changed to white. The needles are purple and the fuel and and engine temp gauge are purple with white needles. And all the electric window and light switches are blue.

Looks too bright to ignore while driving.

I had a similar setup in my previous car, looked good initially, but later on got it changed back to the OEM Orange/Amber as it was smoother on the eyes and lighter in intensity.

that looks decent,i would like to do that but i doubt i will have the patience
