Octavia mk2 vRS std springs and dampers F&R

Featured Replies

With the addition of coilovers to my car comes the removal of the standard springs and dampers. Car is a 2007 FSI-T vRS, had done 60k miles when the kit was removed and seems to be in good condition. Springs aren't broken, dampers (OE Sachs) aren't leaking and include front bump stops. You will need bump stops for the rear. Probably ideal if you are removing an uprated setup and need some standard kit to replace it.

Parts are all removed and ready to go. I would like £100 collected from Leicester - happy to get a courier cost (£15 approx I imagine) or will tape the box up and you can arrange a courier if that's your preference.

Cheers

El bumpo.

Would consider an offer.

good luck - I couldn't give mine away at only 20,000 miles old

It's a pity there high miles I might have been interested in one as my front drivers squeaks and it's only done 40k

Thanks Dave for the bump.

I wouldn't really class 65k as high miles and I hope nobody will find that unnecessarily off putting. 80/90/100+ miles on a 5 year old car maybe, but id say there was life left in these and they're probably 4x the price when new.

Hey John was not trying to be cheeky about the miles lol just meant they were higher than mine so wouldnt be of interest for that reason only . But i do no what you mean that isnt a lot of miles .

Davie.

Still for sale at what amounts to £12.50 per spring and damper. Probably ideal if you are replacing your aftermarket setup to go back to standard and selling up.
