Interior roof light - button hanging

Featured Replies

Guys, just tried to install a microphone under the grill where the interior light is. I've un done the 2 screws and dropped the light out, but now the sliding button is just hanging down and not working. All I can find is a random spring that was in the roof lining? Not sure if this is part of the puzzle? Any ideas?

Ok figured out the spring and it's working, just had to pop it on over the prongs.

Now none of the lights are working? Any ideas?

Checked fuse 4 and that's fine.

Check that the sliding switch with the spring is making the contacts correctly. Are you sure all of the parts are there and in the correct positions?

Pretty sure, may have to check the fuse again though as none of the rear passenger lights or glove box light are working now.

Does anybody have a picture of the back of a working light unit or a spare unit they could take a picture of?

It's fuse No4 10amp for the interior light, don't forget the layout is mirror image to the book as it's a right hand drive.

That's where I went wrong, it was the fuse after all. Thanks moley :)
