Interior trim issues

Featured Replies

I have a four year old Octavia tour, 40k miles on the clock.

The cover (Plastic/leatherette) of the steering wheel is disintegrating, and the fabric of the side of the driving seat is worn through.

Is this to be expected at this stage of the vehicles life, or should I be talking to the distributor?

That is a bit early. Mine has done 136k and the interior is mostly immaculate. Check the mileage with VCDS.

Err sure its not an ex taxi that's done a few hundred thousand k!?

Sent from my Galaxy S2 not a Crapple!

My mk1 has 120000 and is perfect inside, so its either had a rough life, or as said taxi

My mk1 hit 200k this morning, and the seat and steering wheel look perfect. Unless the previous owner was a lardy boy I can't see how the seat could be that damage unless the car only did 0.5 mile trips everywhere!

my 57 plate's interior is immaculate and its still a taxi, keeping seat covers on and not doing the night shift keeps it clean
