two new vredensteins

Featured Replies

Got 2 new (rear) Vredenstien Sportrac'3' fitted today for £150. (205-55 R16 91V) Including all the usuals, valves, balance etc.

Is that reasonable value? Haven't had time to assess roadholding - reviews sound good though.

They seem good on road noise and ride so far.

Has anybody run them for a while?

Soujnds OK - I paid £160 locally a couple of months ago.

You'll find them excellent - I put them on our 4x4 to replace the Dunlop SP01's the car came with and they ar far far better that the Dunlops. I'm on my second set of fronts but will need new rears soon and will go for the same again.

I found some on line (afterwards) for £57 each but by the time you added the local fitting costs, £18 each, it was exactly the same as my local source, Field's Tyres, Hove, who I can thoroughly recommend by the way. (First time I've used them.)

I got Sporttrac 2 on my vectra ages ago, then Sportrac 3 on Audi A3 sport - brilliant value for money. Good choice
