Hi, on my mk1 mpi 1.4, the boot occasionally sticks - i.e. it doesn't unlock with the keyfob. Sometimes it decides to unlock, and other times it doesn't. Also, similar issue with the sunroof - it should close when you turn and hold the key in the "lock" position. Sometimes it closes, and other times it doesn't. Even the interior light is weird - in a certain position, it should go off when the car is locked with the keyfob, but it only works when it wants to. Any ideas?

Boot lid search on here there's a lot about it somewhere. Sometimes the mech jams.

Sunroof and lights. I'd say you either got an intermittent fault with the door switch or a broken connection in the loom between door and car

Yep sunroof and boot look for the door having been opened. Open another door and see if it works.
