new skoda logo

Featured Replies

Hey

Does anyone know where to get the new 2012 skoda logo for the front and back?

At your dealer.

Check out a thread in the Octavia II section. Loads of information and part numbers for body and wheels. I would imagine they are all the same.

Had anybody come up with a soloution for the logo on the steering wheel? I´m not changing my logos before I can get them all! (The ones for the outside, the wheels and the key should´nt be a problem - but the one on the inside however...)

Why would you want to change the logos? It's the car that's the important thing surely, not the badge. I buy Skoda for reliabilty, value for money, the specification, the cavernous room inside, and the friendliness of the dealers. It's also nice to drive. I'm not interested in what badge I have on the car, and I can't believe that any other Skoda owner would be either?!

I saw a thread on this yesterday suggesting that changing the logo on the airbag was a big no-no. And changing the airbag module for the sake of the badge would be expensive.

Here Here. I actually think the badge that comes with the car is better looking than these colourless `replacements`.

The badges arent reliable :) We have had two and number 3 is corroding the same way , always on the boot for some reason , lets hope the new ones are better quality

Touche ! I hadn't thought of that angle!

Doubtful as this has been a know problem for years.

This will be the only reason I go for the new badges when the correct ones come out, they don't look as nice IMO, but they cannot corrode like the current ones.

Both of mine were changed a month ago.... and I expect to have to have them done again before the warranty runs out (in 16 months time)

Interesting. My wife's Octavia and my Superb are now 2 years old, and all the Skoda badges are perfect. Luck of the draw perhaps..
