2001 Skoda Fabia 1.4 MPI 8V ECU Pinout / Diagram

Featured Replies

Not had much luck trying to find one of these. I was wondering if anyone could help, has Autodata etc.

I'm specifically looking for the pins for speed sensor and injector signals.

Thanks in advance.

You didn't give the engine code...

The speed sensor is on pins 98, 99 (screen) and 106 of the 40-pin ECU plug.

IIRC, most variants have the injector signals on pins 85-88 (3, 4, 2, 1) of the 40-pin ECU plug.

Thanks, this is really helpful.

It's AQW with ECU code of SIMOS3PA (047 906 033 C)

I'm wiring up one of these:

as mines a "Classic" (hence no fuel computer) and I don't want to get involved with swapping dash pods and coding.

If you get stuck then post back here and I'll try and help you.

I gave you the pins for the engine speed sensor which shouldn't be necessary for your unit. It can work out rpm from the injector pulses.

You need the roadspeed sensor. The sensor connects to pin 6 of 32-pin dash connector. The dash has a roadspeed output on pin 5 and this eventually goes to the ECU (pin 9 on the 81-pin connector) but it may be easier to pick it up at the dash.

@rwbaldwin,

I have related problem with some parts of a Fabia not working like the coolant fan & related relayd not actuating and I am alsi unable to query the engine module using VCDS 16.8 though I can query other modules after trying to wire the ECU to a salvaged car that had lost its old ECU.

Kindly help with full ECU pinout for the Magneti Marelli ECU with part no 036 906 034 FF on a 2005 Skoda Fabia 1.4 16v Model 6Y with BBZ engine.

Thanks in advance,
