Wheel balancing quirk...

Featured Replies

Hi All, long time no post, hope everyone is enjoying the sun...

After having the front console bushes replaced a few months back, I noticed a vibration on the steering wheel. Checked the wheel weights, and the near side rear had no weights (other 3 did).

SWMBO took in for wheel balancing, all four wheels, and three now have shiny new weights but the same nearside rear does not have any weights (it was checked).

So, do I have the only actually straight wheel in existance, or am I missing something?!

The vibration is largely gone, the steering does feel tighter but I'm putting that down to the new console bushes.

Any thoughts?

In very rare ocasions you will have a wheel that needs no weights its rare n hardly get any at work (make life easy when u do) but if u have a vibration through the wheel its normally front if u feel it thru car its the rear
