Thought I got away with it....

Featured Replies

But no, due to the excessive heat this week, i now have the infamous spoiler lacquer peel :( More pi55ing about!

such a stupid manufacturing fault, very annoying. How much does this cost to fix?

I too have this problem and although I haven't got any quotes myself some people on here suggested a quote range of between £120-£180 depending on the bodyshop etc. also I beleive they have to spray it while it's on the car.

Get it wrapped i am cheaper and will last longer

I got mine painted. They removed it painted it and re attached for about £100

This is why they should be constantly waxed, mine was faided when brought last August. So with some time and care I brought the colour back...... Perfect, then every day that week I cleaned and reapplied wax. It has loads of wax on it and stop the sun killing it, previous owners done it and the cars a 53plate and has never had the spoiler re-sprayed so must work :)

I Wrapped mine in Carbon Fibre, (my lacquer had not started to come off tho)

Just washed my car and noticed I have lacquer peel on the sill below the rear door??? What the hell is going on?

So I need sprayed - spoiler, Sill, Front grill and Wing mirror. Boy this will be expensive :(

Save up, get the parts sprayed you need. Then pay to have the car re-lacquered

the whole car re-lacquered? Surely the parts would be lacquered if they've been sprayed up.
