Yep, brakes work fine...

Lol, some peoples takes on the short video are interesting. The roundabout was plenty big enough, with no trees or bushes to hinder the view that the Golf had plenty of time to judge the speed of the OP and react accordingly. (not that it was a particularly quick pull off anyway). Not only that, if she had put her foot down she`d have got out the way in plenty of time but stopping right in the way was just a ridiculous idea.

I can accept some make mistakes, pulling out a bit late as she did, but why stop?! What does that achieve? Its like the people who pull out into an outside lane of a duel carriageway the pulling back across as your trying to avoid them at 70mph. Crazy.

Agree with that! She had plenty of time to get away! Everyone in MK knows their roundabouts well!

I use witness app on my phone and it works brilliantly. Cost 59p. I also have a secure mount, no vibration, and you can get around the battery death, I simply bought a 1000mA charger off eBay, works a treat :)

Considering how many roundabouts there are you'd think this, but mostly people are just as bad if not worse. Everyone should be sent to Hemel Hempstead imo for roundabout training

but that would mean having to go to Hemel Hempstead, and who wants to do that! :D

That's not a fate I'd inflict on anybody!

Drivers in MK are some of the worst i`v seen tbh lol. I see some truly shocking driving daily, last month I saw a woman driving the wrong way up a 70mph duel carriageway. No one signals on roundabouts, people overtake you as you are approaching a roundabout then pull across in front of you braking. If I pull out in a 40ft bus when the roundabout is clear someone will come flying round when i`m half way out and blast their horn/throw abuse at me.

As said in the last post, people pull out from side turnings in front of you, so as you try and avoid them by moving to the outside lane they pull across again leaving you no where to go. My brothers mate got squashed against a kerb on his scooter because someone done that with out looking. 30mph roads people do 60mph, 60mph roads people do 40. If someone wants to turn right and there is a central reservation, they`ll just wack the brakes on and U turn on a 60mph road, then reverse back in front of you to make the turn without hitting the kerb. On roundabouts people dont look at the lane markings, so on ones where you turn right from the middle/left lane people on your right will try and push you out from the inside. Then ones that you need to be in the right hand lane for, people will just go round the outside lane and nearly wipe you out that way. . . . . .

And breath . . . I know everyone says local to the is bad for poor driving but I honestly think its below average here. All of that said, it certainly keeps your wits about you, good place to learn because everywhere else build up seems slower and more sedate than here.

Sorry for the slight rant.
