forge blow off valve

Featured Replies

I would but it wouldnt work with the atmospheric one:( would you settle for a ballon type object being blowen up?

I would indeed!

Oh get ya know lol well dont think there would be enough pressure but if sum1 could give it a shot lol

Il give it a shot :D seen videos of it being done on youtube but that was on a scooby so more boost.......but if theres a will theres a way

They have more boost, but we have super chargers... haha!

Skip to 12 seconds for a laugh :giggle:

Well we have more boost 2.2 bar (remebering on top of my head) when both supercharger and turbo working together, unless the scobby tunes to the moon, very few engines run this amount of boost

It depends whether or not your are comparing absolute pressure or gauge pressure. Boost wise when mapped wer are similar in boost values, with the only difference being the 1.4TSI hits its peak boost much earlier in the rev range than suburus do.

Dont forget 2.2Bar is an absolute pressure. The actual gauge pressure is approx 1.1-1.2 bar at the most. Stage 2 cars are 1.3-1.4Bar. Stage 3 cars run 1.5-1.8Bar.

A stage 2+ K04 TFSI VAg engine runs around 1.9Bar(gauge) iirc

OP - where did you get it from? Can you provide a link please?

Thank you muchly.

I've had peaks of 25psi and holding about 22

Shamelessly fancy some bov action, but seems to be both an atmos bov and a spacer. Will these effectively achieve the same result or does the spacer by itself end up with a too sensitive bov?

i wouldnt bother mate as vag engines are designed to recir, i have a forge recirc, bit of a pain to fit. if you were to fit also fit an enclosed cold air feed as you can hear the dump valve so much more as the pressure is getting released back into the throttle body

Does anyone have a how to guide on fitting the spacer on the mk2 vrs tfsi ?
