Dmf

Is it actualy worth selling to anybody second hand dmf and clutch kit?

I sold my uprated Sachs clutch without DMF to a user on here. Then another user. Who then sold it to another user. The damn thing's probably done nearly as many miles in a box as it did on the car now :D

If it's standard then I don't think there'd be much point in it, it's a fair chunk of labour so the little bit of money you save by putting a second hand OEM clutch in could be overshadowed by another big repair bill if it failed. Whereas I sold £650 worth of clutch with about 30-40k on it for about £250 in the end which was a bigger saving that was worth having. You never know what people will buy though, costs you nothing to advertise on here and would cost about 99p to list it on eBay, could be worth a go.

Depends how many miles are on it I suppose.

It would have to be pretty cheap though to temp someone to buy it instead of a new one otherwise it's not worth it.

A brand new clutch kit and DMF can be had for around £350.

Evan if i got £50 its better then nout but think il just put it with rest of scrap tbh not worth messing about with

I had to buy a dmf a while back (about 30,000 miles back!).

Came on here, one was going second hand that had done about 50,000.

Paid £80 delivered and was happy with that as it was much cheaper than a new one!

It can be sold, but you need someone like me who needed it at the time.
