Cheap small reliable automatic

Thanks Tom, if I drove automatics I could be quite tempted with the silver coupe for £800 ( I love Civic coupes    ), just a bit far to travel for some of them but I've passed them on anyway.

Got asked by swmbo's friend to help her look for a small auto, then got a txt saying she brought a Peugeot 1007 :peek:

Managed to keep my mouth shut so far lol

np LD :)

I had a Civic as my first car (manual of course), brilliant little car.

As for the Pug 1007, I think I'd rather have gonorrhoea. ;)

The K11 shape Micra autos are a CVT from what I recall, which also have a magnetic powder clutch which transfers the drive from the engine. If you're looking at Micras, they have a habit of rotting out the front cross member to which the front engine mount is attached.

As for a Peugeot 1007, we sold one earlier this year that had a bit of a design flaw. Basically the electric doors would ice up and wouldn't open.

Lazy try, Ray Morris just up the A2 in Bexlyhearh.

Has mostly Auto's for sale, been around for years. But i have not used him myself.

Yes, correct.

I bought my ex a 1.6 v-tec civic (manual) for £350... 9 months MOT... ran it with NO costs or expenditure, MOT'd again, for £500.. ran another year , then scrapped.....

damn good "banger" motoring......

and hell , it was £16 when new! had electric everything! rear el windows! sunroof! heated mirrrors! ect ect ..

and being honda, it ALL worked! lol...

great car.

Had an escort like that, brought it for 225 quid and it just kept on going and passing MOTs for the next 3 years till the tin worm finally killed it, abused it like hell too lol

Sent from my Galaxy S2 not a Crapple!

I'd avoid Astras. Mate's folks had one and hit felt like the car had been hit up the rear when it changed from N to reverse and vice versa.
