Just another Newbie!

Featured Replies

Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum and begin with my agony of questions!

I have a black 53 plate Octavia VRS, and although I'm new to the forum I'm far from new to the vag scene, although given this is my first Skoda. I've had it a little while now but fed up of searching the net only to accomplish nothing when I'm looking for answers!

So my first one, should anyone be able to help, I tried the N75 removal as the cars been really surging on and off the boost and had been advised that this may cure the problem?

On the basis of things it ironed out the initial problem, and although it's now super smooth and excellent between gear changes it feels really down on power. Ive now plumbed all the pipes back together as standard with the n75 back in operation and it has the power back, has anyone tried this? What results did you get?

Also, just too add I used the resistor to bypass the valve and it worked without throwing up any engine management lights so this isn't a case of limp mode etc.

Welcome to Briskoda :) I recommend you repost your query in our dedicated Octavia I forum.
