FK or TA-Technix

Featured Replies

Hell-o, again.!!!

New question, anyone driven/driving or tested any of thelowering sets stated above?

The price of these caught my intrest, 200-300 €uros.

Second question, if buying any of these "little cheaper" sets, would it be better to buy an adjustable version or a solid one, just thinking of the adjusting screws/threads, do they pop if adjustable ?

Interesting thing is that even though cheap, at least ta-technix has a 2-year warranty..

I had TA Technix on my Mk3 Golf GTI. They were ok tbf, as long as your not silly low, they offer a reasonable balance and aren't too crashy. ;)

I have JOM a cheap set and they are fine :) Comfortable but a little bumpy.

Yeah the thought was to make the car look better without gettin bad drivability nor costing me my pants off. And it's only driving o the road, no racing !

I'd reccomend the JOMs then. £196 on Ebay from Performance2u.

I had TA Technix in my old polo.

I don't recommend cheap kits like this.

They get rave reviews on forums as the majority that buy them wear rose tinted glasses when looking at the quality of them due to the bargain they feel that got, or have only experienced suspension kits in the same budget class and therefore know no better.

Or a combination of the above two.

The FK Konigsport kit I had on my newer polo, and the AP kit I have on my fabia are both miles better than the TA Tex kit I owned.

It was my single regret when owning my polo GTi buying a cheap coilover kit.

I'd strongly suggest a budget of at least £400 when looking at coilovers, you get what you pay for.

DONT GET TA...mine lasted two days before the internals fell to pieces!!!

i might have got a duff set but still....

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR..
