To change or not, the dilemma

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Been a while since I posted on here. (Being overseas with work for over 9 months in last 12 doesnt help). Just rumbling through whether to change the VRS for a 140 TDi elegance. I am now doing so many miles that it seems pointless to be stacking the motorway miles on a VRS.

Anybody any thoughts or pointers to look out for with the standard 140 if I was to head this way?

Regards

Greg

It'll cost you to change and you won't save that much diesel by changing to a 140. Might be as well to keep what you have.

As above it will cost to change so assuming your vRS is a diesel you may be better to stick with it. It's also quicker and better to look at.

The OP has a diesel according to his sig.

As above, might be cheaper all round to stick with what you have got!

Changing cars costs money no matter how you convince yourself it wont. I still do it as im a mug but i do love changing cars. Even changing from a more expensive car to a supposedly cheaper brand is still enjoyable. Variety is the spice of life, as they say. It costs you though. If you want to change and are trying justify it just change and enjoy it. If its purely money related then run your current car into the ground.
