Any chance this would fit / work on my 2005 1.9tdi elegance hatch? The suspension on mine is horribly soft and bouncy. I was driving an 08 estate elegance the other day and it was massively better. I dont drive fast very often now but I do need to fix this.

The vRS suspension has 55mm struts, some other model's can either be 50mm or 55mm, Depend's what size struts you have and what the weight differences are between the hatch/combi, I'm sure someone else can tell you about that though.

I think the springs will be wrong for a TDI due to the difference in engine weight. You might be ok with the shocks though.

1.9 will be 50mm struts IIRC, the 2.0TDi has 55mm
